What Enhance voice actually does
A voice chain is several decisions at once: what to cut below the voice, what to lift in the presence range, and how hard to even out the level. Presets make those decisions quickly and hide them completely, so the only way to judge one is to hear it against the recording it replaced. This page puts both on the same transport and reports the size of what came out, so choosing a chain is a comparison rather than a guess.

Limits worth knowing
- A chain is a fixed set of decisions and does not adapt to the recording. A voice it does not suit sounds worse, which the comparison shows.
- Enhancement cannot recover detail a lossy encoder or a clipped preamp already discarded.
- Background noise is shaped by these filters but not removed; the noise reducer is the tool for that.
